This is the current computer I am using which I built in 2020 and have made a few upgrades to since. I intend to stay on an AMD CPU and NVIDIA GPU, as this has given me a great combination of gaming performance and real world productivity utility with CUDA and NVENC encoding, allowing me to do anything from gaming to training AI models and inferencing from local LLMs from one computer. If I had unlimited budget, I would love to upgrade the GPU to a newer NVIDIA GPU with Tensor cores and more VRAM to expand the AI capabilities of my PC, or upgrade to a large-capacity SSD to allow me to store lots of AI models weights, datasets, and code.
